Frequently asked questions:

FAQ’s :

What is the difference between a Personal Chef Experience and generic Meal Prep Services?

The personal chef experience is fully customized to meet your dietary needs and desires. You will have access to my services as your personal chef in the comfort of your home where I will prepare your meals exactly to your liking using your kitchen, utensils and appliances. Each menu is uniquely curated just for you with your nutritional goals and needs in mind. I am also able to accommodate specific preferences, making modifications for individuals in the family and allowing you the personalized luxury of an in-home chef!

Meal prep services are not customizable. They don’t take into account your health goals which is ultimately why a personal chef / nutritionist is so unique.

Will you accommodate specific diets or needs?

Yes! Because I am a certified nutritionist, it is my pleasure to work with you on achieving your nutrition goals. Your meals are completely custom and specifically crafted to meet your needs in all areas including - allergies, gluten/dairy intolerances, sensitivities, macro goals, and taste/flavor-profile preferences.

Do you cook in my kitchen?

I do! All cooking is executed in your kitchen on the designated day that is arranged. Meals are prepared with your utensils and cooking appliances to your liking. Everything is clean and sparkly when I am finished for the day.

How long are you in my home the day you are cooking?

Depending on how many meals I am preparing, I am generally cooking for 2-4 hours. Packaging, labeling and cleaning up takes an additional 30-60 minutes. The window of time is always during the day and usually falls between 10am-3pm. You are not required to be home while I am there.

What is the cost of your personal chef services?

I am happy to provide you with pricing upon request. There are several factors to consider such as how many meals you would like prepared and how many servings are needed. Groceries are not included in pricing as this cost varies week to week depending on your custom selected menu. Food cost is additional to the personal chef service fee.

Where do you source your ingredients?

I prioritize local and seasonal ingredients whenever possible. I shop at a variety of stores including Fresh Direct, Nature’s Food Market, Green’s Market, Trader Joe’s, Wegmans, Whole Foods, and Farmer’s Markets (when in season). Organic and locally sourced produce are always prioritized as well as pastured proteins and dairy. Nothing artificial - no dyes, emulsifiers, seed oils, or highly-processed ingredients are ever used in my cooking.
