Hi, I’m annE but everyone calls me annie.

My pursuit for health and understanding the complexity of what we eat emerged from my own personal journey to discover a balanced relationship with food amidst a busy lifestyle. My curiosity for the art and science of cuisine and how food impacts our lives naturally expanded into a merging of my love for nutrition and sophisticated, flavorful meals.

In 2002 I graduated from Baylor University with a BFA in design and have been immersed in the arts ever since. Entering the culinary space was an extension of my love to create. Since 2016 I have been a food photographer, studying under a professional chef and food stylist and developing a passion for cooking and the culinary experience.

Just after starting a family of my own in 2010, I decided to take a close look at nutrition and went back to school to complete my certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition to become an Holistic Nutritionist. A year later, I furthered my education and became a student of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) through several course completions at The Centre Of Excellence.

The accumulation of my nutrition training paired with my front-lines experience in the kitchen lead me down the obvious path of becoming a personal chef. I wanted to pursue my passion for cooking to serve others, making their lives just a little easier all while providing balanced meals to families and individuals who crave the convenience and a cozy approach of in-home accommodations.

I believe that food should be a source of joy, and a form of nourishment that preserves the family ritual of enjoying a meal together in an experience that truly support the body and soul.
